Chinese Buddy Reading Programme
 
In order to enhance Chinese Reading and foster the spirit of care and serve among schoolmates, two teams of Chinese Buddy Reading Tutors have been set up. Pupils from P.3 to P.6 are recruited to join the teams. They were trained with the skills of teaching P.1 and P.2 pupils to read Chinese storybooks through various activities. All team members have to perform duty in the morning from October.

Chinese Reading Programme    

Through Reading,our pupils learn more!

The Chinese Reading Programme has been organized for P.2 to P.5 pupils. Through Reading, our pupils can enrich their vocabulary bank and enhance their reading skills as well. Ambassadors from St. Paulˇ¦s Convent School strengthen our manpower. We thank them for their whole-hearted devotion in guiding our pupils to develop the skills of reading.

With the help from all the devoting volunteers, our programme can be arranged into three slots and more than 85 pupils have benefited from the programme. Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to all the contribution of our reading tutors.

The workshop for Chinese Reading Ambassadors

Before the Chinese Reading Programme commenced, the Chinese Reading Ambassadors from St. Paulˇ¦s Convent School joined a training workshop.They learned the skills of teaching children to read Chinese story books through various learning activities.This programme aims at providing the pupils with an opportunity to strengthen their Chinese reading abilities so as to build up a good foundation in the learning of the Chinese Language.

A BIG THANK YOU to the Reading Ambassadors

The Programme has been successfully completed in mid-March. All the pupils presented their thank you cards and expressed their heartfelt gradtitute to the Ambassadors. Photos were taken and the good momeries will last forever.
